J09

My group for the Colman project were my fellow Jacks : paytonAudra, and Kylie.

Our product for this presentation was the U-Stem-sil, the multi use kitchen utensil

THIS  is our presentation that we used that Kylie put together on Prezi.

Our group worked very well together, we listened to each others idea, challenged each others ideas in a non-confrontational way, bounced ideas off of each other, and we used each others strengths to our advantage throughout the whole process.

At first our group was really centered on things that could work for the home and the outdoors. Some of the big aspects about Coleman that we wanted to incorporate in our project were things like being compact, having multiple uses, and being durable. A product that gave us our initial inspiration was the Swiss Army knife and its ability to have so many useful things packed into a small durable space. after coming up with many different options for products we finally landed on the U-Stem-sil.

My primary role in the group was to do the modeling that we used in the presentation. the program i used was google sketchup, which is a terrible modeling program but its free sooooo ya. Audra did work with who our User and Colman is, Kylie collaborated with Audra on that as well as putting together and organizing the final presentation, and payton did work on the logo and product. Basically we all figured out as a group what we wanted for each different section (product, logo, packaging, kiosk) and then each person got what they were going to do and fine tuned it to make it project ready.

here are pictures of what i worked on on Google Sketchup
