I really enjoyed this class as a whole! i came into the quarter with a very hazy view of what exactly are designers and have now left with a better understanding of what they do and how they do it, not a super clear understanding but a much better one then when i started.
i liked the fact that a lot of the work was in groups. some people dont enjoy groups and sometimes they can impair your work, but i have found that working with other people is very important in the design world. its good to have groups because it gives you people to bounce ideas off of and improve and fine tune ideas.
i read gabes finally thoughts for the course and saw that he purposely gave us lots of work all due at one time and i think thats smart, but a lot of that work turned out to be dumb busy work that got put on the back burner while doing the bigger tasks of the course and other courses work during the quarter and they ended up not getting done. this is of course all my fault as result of my lack of time management skills, but piling on busy work did not help.
besides that i really enjoyed this class, i looked forward to it a ton more then any other class
